My story begins in New Zealand where I was born and raised. My Occupational Therapy training and career also began there
nearly 20 years ago. After working at a non-profit child development centre, my work took me to London, England for 5
years, and then to BC in 2004. To make a long story short, I'm very well settled in Port McNeill now with a husband, three
vibrant munchkins and a dog! It's great to raise our kids in such beautiful and natural surroundings.
I've been fortunate to continue as an Occupational Therapist here, serving preschoolers and young school aged children.
But, managing large caseloads in an underfunded public health system was a tricky dance to choreograph with a busy family life.
